Liquidity VLS® Lining Systems
With land and building space at a premium, water storage tanks are often being incorporated into the design of the building. Incorporating water storage into the design of the building allows previously wasted space to be utilised and water to be stored in a cool and dark location to improve water quality (when compared with the alternative of storing it externally).
In the past, applied or paint-on membranes have been used to line and seal tanks within the structure of a building. Time has proven that such solutions are not long term due either to subsequent void movement (a small hairline crack results in a leaking tank!) or application issues.
Liquidity VLS® flexible fabric liners provide a long term solution with a consistent material thickness over the entire area giving assurance that there is complete coverage over the entire void space. Waterplex® also manufactures it Liquidity VLS® lining systems "over size" so that it can compensate for any future void movement to ensure the integrity of the storage space. Waterplex also supplies a protective liner to go between the void space and the waterproof liner, again further ensuring the longevity and integrity of the storage solution.
Liquidity VLS® lining systems may be "open" or "closed" depending on the available space and the application.
